2019 kicked off working with staff and students at Dundee & Angus College during Quality Week, there’s no classes and it’s a great time to get together. We’d carried out user research at the end of the year and staff were able to reflect on what the people who use the services were saying about them.
In December we’d picked up the Campbell Christie Public Service Reform Award for the Good to Great Project and everyone was really keen to keep the momentum going. Service Design has galvanised the College to look at radical changes in the way we deliver our services to learners. From the way that we welcome learners to the way we deliver our teaching and learning, all areas of our operation are being examined and designed. The Service Design approach is built on partnership work with our learners and bringing their direct experience to influence our decision making.
